This is another website that I would recommend to use for language games.
There are
-online quizzes &activities
-podcast in mp3 for listening skills
- activities sheet that you can print

one of the suggested games in this website is FILLING THE GAP.Teacher can let students to listen the news a few times then ask students to fill the gaps.this can be use to test students'
journalist.

A sample for class activity is as below:-

1.choose a news as your topic.For example,Hurricane Sandy

2.Then click on the games that you would like to play. For example, missing words

3.and this page will be showed

4.then click on red box as showed to listen to the mp3 version of the news

5. Let the students listen to the mp3 once or twice then let them fill in the blanks.

6.then let students form questions from the news.

examples of questions are as follow:-
1.sandy
-what is sandy?
-how long will it last?

2.preventing measures
- what can we do in advance to be safe from Sandy?
- Can it be detected and will the authority give warning to the public?
-what has the authority done in preparing for sandy?

3.causes and effect
-will Sandy effect the climate?
-How big is the effect that Sandy can bring to the environment?
-How does Sandy happen?
-How far will Sandy go?

either in class or outsides students can record their interview using VOCAROO, one be journalist one will be the meteorologist
